The AR1011 ARRU system is a complete RF receiver unit. The heart of the AR1011 ARRU system is Applied Radar’s AR1004 Four Channel RF Downconverter module. Each AR1004 module provides four channels of RF downconversion. The AR1011 ARRU system comes complete with Applied Radar’s AR1001 LO Synthesizer Distribution Units (LSDU) to provide the LO inputs to the AR1004 modules.

The AR1011 ARRU system can be subdivided into users, providing independent tuning for each user. In the ARRU-64 system, pictured to the left, the system is subdivided into four users, with each User assigned control of four AR1004 RF downconverter modules or 16 channels of RF downconversion. Each user is provided access to the system through either the on board GUI or the remote TCP connections.

The AR1011 ARRU is available in a 19-inch rack format which incorporates a 21 slot VME chassis for the single board computer and AR1004 RF Downconverter modules. The 19-inch rack configuration is available with up to 16 AR1004 RF Downconverter modules. Other form factors are available upon request; contact our sales department for more information.
